4. There are only 8 files in the folder, 7 of which are backup copies of all chats created at 3 a.m., the last seven days and one is the current database of the application.

   
   

5. Rename the current database in order to restore, if necessary. Highlight file msgstore.db.crypt8click on the " menu", in the window that opens, select" Rename"and write any file name, for example" msgstore.db .1 "

   
   

6. Next, in the same way, rename the backup for the day that you need in msgstore.db  (just erase the date from the file name)

   
   

7. Then reinstall WhatsApp through the Play Market
