With today's hectic life, very often we can miss important little things. So, for example, if necessary, send beautiful postcard or make a cash gift, it turns out that we forgot to buy an envelope. But you can always find a way out of any situation. In this case, a couple of methods come in handy that describe how to make an envelope for a disc from an A4 sheet or an envelope for money.

How to make an envelope for a disc from an A4 sheet?

Surely, we all have come across a situation where you need to find a CD sleeve. And if original envelope lost, no problem: you can use a regular A4 sheet.

To fold the disc sleeve, follow these instructions:

1. Fold the paper in half across the long side.
2. Unfold the fold - this basting will be the middle of the product.
3. Fold one short side into a triangle so that its sides can meet in the middle.
4. Now fold 4 cm inward on both sides.
5. Fold the workpiece along the intended fold.
6. Bend the top edge inward to the level of the base of the triangle and wrap it inward.
7. Fold the triangle upside down.

Envelope for a disk in quilling technique

In order to make an envelope out of paper for a disk, you will need:

1. Double-sided colored paper.
2. File.
3. Cardboard.
4. Ruler (simple and with circles).
5. Plain and curly scissors.
6. Simple pencil.
7. PVA glue.
8. Knife.
9. Spoke.
10. Toothpick for twisting paper.
11. Beads.

Work order:

1. In order to make an envelope from paper for a disk, first cut out a template for the future envelope.
2. Take the cardboard from which the envelope will be made. Lay the template on the cardboard and trace around.
3. Cut with simple scissors, but one edge needs to be cut with curly scissors for beauty.
4. After the base of the envelope is cut out according to the template, the folds should be “punched” so that they look beautiful from the outside and bend easily. For these purposes, you can use a knitting needle.
5. Next, you need to bend the product and continue working.
6. From the side of the pocket where the disk will fit, it is necessary to outline a slot in the middle. Cut out with a knife. Coat with PVA glue and glue the “wings”. The envelope is ready!
7. Now we need to decorate it. From orange and blue paper, cut strips 5 mm wide, 30 cm long. Glue them together one at a time. The length of each of the strips should be 60 cm.
8. Insert the tip of the strip into the slot of the toothpick and start winding, making a rotation, starting with the blue color. It is necessary that the turns of paper fit snugly against each other. Having reached the end, put a ruler with a diameter of 12 mm in a circle, remove the toothpicks, let the spiral bloom. Give the roll a drop shape.
9. For the middle of the flower, take yellow strips 30 cm long and 10 mm wide. Cut a strip of noodles. If you find it difficult to cut evenly, then you can draw a line in the middle with a pencil.
10. Twist a tight roll, secure it at the end with glue. Unfold carefully.
11. Make a flower out of the received details. Make 5 of these flowers.
12. Glue them to the envelope.

Gift envelope №1

Banknotes as a gift for the holiday is probably not the most ethical souvenir and, nevertheless, very popular. In order to brighten up some discrepancy with etiquette, it is customary to give banknotes in an envelope. And in this case, you can not limit your imagination when choosing the shape of the festive packaging, using a standard A4 sheet.

Instruction:

1. Cut off part of the sheet so that you get a square.
2. Fold the sheet along two diagonals and smooth out the folds.
3. Bend one of the corners inside to the center.
4. Tuck the workpiece along the center fold line.
5. See the side angles to the middle of the base of the resulting triangle.
6. Bend the upper corner, which is in the middle, in the opposite direction and form a diamond out of it with your finger.
7. Bend the upper triangle along the base line so that the top falls into a rhombus.

The envelope is ready!

Gift envelope №2

There is a somewhat complicated, but more sophisticated option to make an A4 envelope for money. To do this, follow these instructions:

1. Fold an A4 sheet in half along the long side, unfold it.
2. Now fold the top right corner into a triangle towards the center of the fold.
3. Repeat the previous step for the bottom left corner.
4. Bend the side of the figure so that its edge coincides with the side of the right triangle. Straighten the protruding bottom edge around the corner.
5. Repeat the previous step on the left side.
6. Now again bend the corner with a triangle to the level of the lower fold - tuck the corner under it.
7. Repeat the same operation on the left.

A beautiful envelope is ready!

Jumper Envelope

An elegantly closed envelope with a jumper can be made from bright wrapping paper. However, the format for this model is still better to take A4.

Instruction:

1. Fold A4 sheet across the long side.
2. Fold the top edge outward so that it meets the fold line.
3. Bend the resulting rectangle in half outward and upward again.
4. Straighten the last fold, make a crease along the line of its middle.
5. Slightly bend the bottom corners of the workpiece outward.
6. Bring the sides of the figure along the borders of the triangles.
7. Expand all the folds, fold the sheet along the right crease in the middle.
8. Bend outward and inward the folds of the rectangles from 2-4 steps.
9. Flatten the bottom triangle along the folds so that the extreme sides remain in their original position, and the inner ones can fold inward.
10. Make a bend in the center of the triangle of the entire sidewall inward.
11. Tuck the bottom corners inward.
12. Fold the tongue over the upper part and bend along the lower base of the resulting triangle.
13. Hide the tongue behind the jumper in the center.

I very often, in order to save money, buy a package of CD / DVD discs to burn all sorts of things on them. And as a rule, I forget about where I will put the already recorded discs. Often you need to record something to friends or work, but without a box, the disk can be scratched and some of the data may not be considered, it can be a shame. You have to pack a CD / DVD disc in a hurry, in a kind of envelope, usually made from a sheet of A4 paper, which has already settled securely not only in offices, but also in apartments. This is very impractical, not to mention the aesthetic side.

One day I decided that it would be nice to take and print an envelope, there is paper, a printer too. Technologies are now developing very rapidly, but printers do not print ready-made envelopes yet. But it is very possible to print a blank for making an envelope for CD / DVD discs. Literally spending ten - fifteen minutes of time, I made a blank for printing an envelope, already with lines for recording information about the contents of the disc and the type of disc.

Then everything is simple, the entire manufacturing procedure takes only five steps.

Step one: print out the blank of our future CD/DVD sleeve.

Step two: cut out the outline of our future envelope, and make a slot for the lock.

Step three: fold the wings of the envelope along the dotted line and apply a thin layer of glue to the wings so that the excess glue does not get on other parts of the envelope.

Step Four: Glue the envelope.

Step Five: Wait a few minutes for the glue to dry (depending on the type of glue used). A good result is obtained if the envelope is dried under load, for example, putting a few books on top, the envelope is very even. And now you have a ready-made envelope in which you can transport and store your CD / DVD discs.

You can make your own envelopes with the blank for making a CD / DVD sleeve and, if necessary, make your own envelopes.
