The Main Directorate of State Financial Control of the City of Moscow (Gosfincontrol) is an executive body of the city subordinate to the Government of Moscow, exercising control in the budgetary and financial sphere, as well as state control over the observance of the pricing procedure.

The main task of the Main Directorate of State Financial Control of the city of Moscow is to control the financial activities of state unitary and state-owned enterprises of the city, as well as over the observance by organizations of the pricing procedure and the application of regulated prices in order to determine the legality, targeted nature, effective and effective use funds of the budget of the city of Moscow.

The Office of the Federal Treasury for the city of Moscow (UFK for the city of Moscow) is a territorial body of the Federal Treasury that provides cash services for execution federal budget on the territory of the city of Moscow.

Management, in cooperation with federal and city executive authorities, as well as bodies local government, carries out its activities directly and through the branches of the UFK subordinate to him in the administrative districts of Moscow.

As for business entities, their financial apparatus depends on the organizational and legal form, its powers are indicated in constituent documents... Households themselves act as the financial apparatus of households.

Functions and methods of financial management

The main task of financial management is to ensure financial stability, to provide the facility with financial resources to achieve the desired result.

Among the methods of financial management, two groups are distinguished:

  • Administrative - these include financial management, depreciation system, financial sanctions, etc.
Financial management helps to coordinate management actions to reduce risk, use resources more efficiently, and achieve goals. The state or enterprise should develop its own financial policy, which will create conditions for the optimal use of financial resources, reduce dependence on borrowed funds, and also accumulate capital for reinvestment or use as a reserve for risk insurance.
