Any firm or company, any premises begins with a plate. A plate on the door of an institution or office from the very first moment of acquaintance with the company emphasizes its image and prestige, and simply helps to orient oneself.
In addition to the information function, plates and signboards can become an effective advertising tool and a distinctive element of the corporate identity of the company.
Types of plates are as follows - information plates, name plates, information signs, facade plates, pointers.
Many people start searching for a manufacturer by searching the Internet for queries:
plate, plate production, whole door plates, buy plates, buy plates, door plates, etc.
But at the same time, few people ask the question - is it a manufacturer or is it an intermediary who does not have equipment at all and will sell you products three times more expensive.

Material and types of plates

There are two main materials from which plates are made - plastic and metal.

plastic plates

Plastic plates can be made by laser engraving on plastic, which has two different colored layers - a thin top layer and a thick layer - the base. In this case, only two colors are possible, but if you have more than 2 colors, then we offer the direct UV printing method (you can read more details below on this page).
Production of plates on plastic happens like this:
The laser burns out the upper layer until the lower main color layer appears. It is very fast and inexpensive when you have no more than 2 colors in your layout.
The thickness of 2-layer plastic can be 1.5 mm for indoor and 3 mm for outdoor. The surface of 3 mm plastic is covered with a protective layer that is resistant to the atmosphere of the city.
The most popular sizes of plates: - 500x400 mm, 400x300 mm, 300x300 mm, 300x200 mm, 300x150 mm, 300x100 mm, 200x100 mm, 150x100 mm, 200x50 mm, the standard size of information signs is 150 x 150 mm.
The size of the products can be any of your choice, but not exceeding the maximum dimensions - 600 x 450 mm.
Mounting methods: the plates are attached to the wall or on the door with a special, high-strength adhesive tape, or with the help of holders or dowels.

A large plastic manufacturer - Rowmark (USA) supplies about 300 types of plastic for laser and mechanical engraving. For ease of choice, all materials for engraving are divided into series, which have their own color range, their thickness and their physical properties.
Unlike cheap 2-ply plastics, Rowmark plastic is of excellent quality, big choice colors and good wear resistance.

ritual tablets

Ritual nameplates carry information about those who are buried in the grave.
We produce such plates using engraving technology, they are all durable and do not require updating, it is possible to add decorative and religious elements, frames, photographs, and images.
Please note that finished products are available in only two colors - the background is one color, the text is another, for example, the background is gold, the inscriptions and drawing are black. Below are the most popular colors of plastics.

The plastic is metallized and looks like metal, while it is a very practical material, it does not deform and perfectly withstands the effects of ultraviolet radiation and external weather conditions in Russia (frost, heat, rain). The made ritual tablet will not lose its original appearance: the image will not be washed off or erased, as it is embedded deep into the plastic. They won't steal it because it's not metal. The most popular products are 30x20 cm and 30x15 cm, but can be optional. The cost of manufacturing ritual tablets depends on the area occupied S. The presence of a frame around the perimeter increases the cost of the plate by 50%. There is also an urgent production within 2 hours upon approval of the layout (check with the managers and depends on the load of the equipment). If you need holes for mounting, please tell me the size of the holes or you can make them yourself with a conventional drill.

metal plates

brass plaque- the most popular type of metal plates, has a polished surface and polished chamfers.
The brass plate is made of polished brass, made in Germany.
It has a polished surface and polished chamfers. Plate thickness 3 mm.
A deep engraving of the picture and text is carried out with the filling of the relief with black or colored enamel.
The image \ text is made by etching or mechanical engraving, with filling the relief with black or colored enamel.
The brass plate is made by us of the polished brass, productions Germany.

Distinctive features brass plates:

  • Mirror diamond polished.
  • Perfect flat surface.
  • Deep color fill.
  • Decorative chamfer. Has a polished surface and polished chamfers.

The maximum size of brass products is 500 x 450 mm. Most popular plate sizes(may be different on request):
500x400 mm, 400x300 mm, 300x200 mm, 300x150 mm, 300x100 mm, 150x100 mm, custom size
Mounting methods: on double-sided tape, screws with a decorative cap or remote holders. The plates can be framed with a beautiful and high-quality Nielsen aluminum baguette in various colors.
Term from 10 days depending on complexity.

Outdoor signs (signboards) for institutions

Basically, plates similar to those shown in the photo are ordered government agencies and they are made in the size of 60x80 cm from PVC, framed by the Nelson profile, with anti-vandal outer plexiglass.
The cost of plates depends very much on the circulation or number of pieces, for example, such a plate of 1 piece will cost 4500 rubles, and with a quantity of 10-15 pieces, the cost is already 3000 - 3500 rubles.
Making plastic plates from plastic takes much less time and is cheaper in cost than from brass or other metals. This advantage of this material is used in cases where it is necessary to fulfill an urgent order at a budget price. Light weight, easy to fasten, impact resistant environment, expressive and memorable - and this is only part of the advantages of this type of product.

Plate holders

One of the options is -BULLET LUX anti-vandal holder designed for mounting information plates at a distance from the wall. It consists of two elements: a body attached to the wall and a screw holding the plate. Color gold, silver set 4 pcs.

Many color plates full color printing on any surface

Modern technology that allows you to apply full-color images on any type of surface, such as glass, mirror, plexiglass, wood, plastic, foam board and rolled materials. This is especially in demand when it is necessary to combine several multi-colored images in one product.
Basically, PVC is used as the main material - it is a polymeric material (thermoplastic). PVC is highly resistant to mechanical damage, is a flame-retardant and self-extinguishing material. It is resistant to alkalis, acids, lime, as well as weathering and is absolutely harmless to humans.
Advantages:
special UV curable inks are used, which form a film, which is then firmly fixed on the substrate, i.e. The ink does not penetrate into the structure of the material during printing, but instantly hardens under the influence of UV lamps.
When using UV printing, there is no need for an additional protective laminating film, which significantly saves costs. The image applied to the surface is able to maintain the brightness and saturation of colors for quite a long time, withstand high operating loads, temperature changes, weather events such as snow, rain or solar radiation.
It is also important that, compared to traditional typographic printing, UV (UV) printing can be used completely freely in any interior without fear of harmful fumes.

Requirements for layouts for "direct UV printing"

Our company manufactures OWN PRODUCTIONplates and signboards high quality from various materials: metal, plastic, plexiglass.
The calculation of the cost will mainly be entered on the basis of the total area of the product. If there is a frame - made of 2-layer plastic, the price increases by 50%. If there is a frame made of brass, its price increases by 25%.

You can order the production of plates and signs, and any engraving on plastic in the online store.

We are pleased to offer our clients new service - production of signboards, office plates and indexes, which are made of special two-layer plastic with a thickness of 1.5 mm or 3 mm by laser engraving. Plastics have a pronounced metallic color similar to gold, silver, bronze, copper, steel, nickel.

Plates and signboards made of this plastic do not fade and have a bright and respectable look.
The technology for applying graphic information is laser engraving, which allows you to reproduce information and logos with high accuracy. Signboards and signs can have standard or arbitrary sizes and shapes.

It is very easy to fix the plate to the wall or door - for this you need to use screws or double-sided mounting tape. Also, it is possible to use figured fasteners and decorative elements to fasten the sign at some distance from the wall.
Facade signs are made of plastic for outdoor use, have a hard coating, high resistance to abrasion, corrosion, ultraviolet radiation, humidity.

Below are the main colors of plastic for the manufacture of signs and plates:

Internal office signs and signs.

Office plates, signboards and signs of this series are manufactured made of two-layer metal-colored plastics for internal or external use, depending on the operating conditions. The thickness of the plastics is 1.5 mm. The plates are lightweight and can be easily fixed with double-sided adhesive tape without the use of special tools.

The price for the manufacture of plates is 2.5 rubles per square cm of the product. For example, a plate 20cm x 30cm = 600x2.5 = 1500 rubles.

Plaques and signs are made from high-quality two-layer plastic for laser engraving from Rowmark (USA).

Stages of work

What is important to know when ordering plates

Consider the terms and conditions of use.

All materials and application methods have their own service life. There is nothing eternal and over time, any material is destroyed. "Stressing" factors for plates: moisture (rain, snow, water), UV radiation, aggressive substances (acids, alkalis).
For example, the application of a film on a PVC plate is one of the most budgetary options for making plates. But! The service life of a self-adhesive film is on average up to 3 years. Plus, since this is an application, the film is glued to the surface of the plastic and is not protected from vandalism. Therefore, such a plate is an excellent temporary option, if we talk about street conditions, and it will work on a permanent basis if you need a plate for the office.
Consider another option, UV printing on composite. The composite is a sheet material, aluminum with a polymeric color coating on the edges, plastic in the center. Thanks to this design, it is light and strong enough, while maintaining a low cost. UV printing is not afraid of moisture and sunlight, only a rough abrasive effect can spoil such an image. Therefore, a composite sign is an ideal solution for budget street signs. This is often done in the manufacture of warning signs and safety signs.

If you have a drawing, provide it first.

If you have special requirements, state them at the beginning of the conversation. The more complete the list of requirements for the plate, the more effective the interaction with the manager will be.

If you have a Brand Book - inform the manager at the material selection stage

Getting the color to a certain specified shade is a separate task for production. Each material has its own texture and color. Each printing method works in its own way. color scheme. For example, powder paints are supplied in RAL colors. If according to the Brand Book the color is specified in Pantone, and you want a plate painted with powder, the manager will inform you that it is a great success to find an identical shade in RAL.
When agreeing on a color, you can always make a color proof. It will allow you to determine the final shade and select the equipment settings to order.

Plan to order signs in advance

Our company provides an urgent production option. If you need to be in time for a specific date, we are ready to make every effort to make the plates on time. But you must understand that in this case, firstly, the number of options for technologies and materials will be reduced. For each technology, the production cycle takes a certain time, which cannot be reduced. Secondly, the price for urgent production is higher. And thirdly, if samples are required, we will not have time to make them.

If you did not find an example plate among our options

Connect manager. Perhaps we did something similar and the manager will send photos of examples. If not, we are ready to experiment!
